McFly Hearthrob Danny jones has stunned their fans by announcing plans to start a solo career.
Danny, the popular cute Northern one who sings a bit in most songs and plays guitar is the one most Mums like from the band. He said at the Opening Of A Crisp Packet in London's Leicester Square,
'Anyone who thinks I'm doing this because Mcfly are going nowhere really doesn't know me. I've always been a dance fan, I even dance when I'm out in a club. I joined McFly to have a laugh and make a bit of money before I moved on to do what I really want. The other lads have known for ages. I won't be famous for ever, and it's the best chance I'll ever get to have a fit wife.
'The one great thing about fame is you can pull anyone you want. I just stick my hair up and wear an earring sometimes, and girls throw themselves at me like I'm some sort of superstar. It's great in McFly, so can you imagine it with some cool dance producers helping me out! I can't fail.
'Well, that's not quite true. I can fail, but that's when I'd give the boys from the band a call and we'd do a comeback album and tour.
'It's all sorted.'
